Construction in the areas of Hugo, Octagon, and Jefferson is expected to be complete by Labor Day 2024. Construction in Orrville and Campbell should start in September or October.  Use the “See your hood” button at the top of this page or Click here to check your specific address.  Just enter your house number and zip code and then follow the prompts. And, even if your address is not shown in one of the current fiberhoods, please follow the prompts and register your interest so we can factor that in as we continue to develop deployment plans. A map of all currently funded project areas can be accessed here but we are always looking to expand where services are needed as funding becomes available Thank you for your interest in our services.
Updated August 24, 2024: The Hugo, Octagon, & Jefferson project has encountered some delays, mainly due to the storms earlier this summer causing a slow down in the new construction.  The delays were compounded by some storm related damage in other areas requiring us to temporarily move the construction crews to those locations.  We have also been recently informed by our electronics supplier that a few of the key components are on backorder and it will be later in the month of October before their installation work will be in full progress.  The electronics light the fiber and make it work. Several locations in the south end of the construction area, however, will be served from existing Pine Belt Telephone facilities.  So, as soon as the contractor turns those outside plant facilities over to us we will be able to light up some services right away which we hope will happen by mid September.  Stay tuned for more details.
